OAK BROOK, Ill., Oct. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- The MONOPOLY(R) 2007 Game at McDonald's(R) has delivered more than $30 million in prizes throughout the promotion, which ended Monday and includes two $1 million winners as well as a $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000 winner.

Travis Wilbanks of St. Charles, Mo., and Ashley Berry of Kingwood, Tex., scored big winning the top prize of $1 million.
"I'm so excited that I won," said Travis Wilbanks. "When I heard about the MONOPOLY Game at McDonald's, I thought I'd test my luck since I played the game as a child and what do you know -- I won the biggest prize there is!"
Travis' winning game piece came from a 32 oz. drink purchased from the McDonald's at 8960 Page Avenue in Overland, Mo. When he found out he won $1 million, he immediately put his winning game pieces in a safety deposit box and called his dad and sister to share the great news.
Ashley Berry was the second lucky McDonald's customer to find out she won the top prize of $1 million. Ashley was on her way to church when she decided to stop by her local McDonald's at 2162 North Park Drive in Kingwood, Tex. to pick up some breakfast. Little did she know her life would change that day when she decided to play MONOPOLY at McDonald's and ended up winning the top prize.
"As a mother of a two-year old and another one on the way, this amazing news could not come at a better time," said Ashley Berry. "MONOPOLY is a fun game I look forward to playing each year and I am thrilled that this time around I am the big winner!"
The MONOPOLY 2007 Game at McDonald's, has more than 1.4 million in-restaurant and online winners to date, totaling more than $30 million in cash and prizes. Although the in-restaurant game ended October 29, customers can play online through November 13. During the past three years, the promotion has delivered more than 350 million winners, including a number of top prize winners. Prize winners include two $1 million winners as well as thousands of winners of other prizes.
"We love to see our customers win big with MONOPOLY," said Douglas Freeland, Director, Marketing, McDonald's USA. "Take Charlotte Meade for example, our $1 million winner from 2006, and now Travis Wilbanks and Ashley Berry, both $1 million winners this year. People really do win and playing the game is where the fun begins."
In celebration of all of the MONOPOLY 2007 Game at McDonald's winners, McDonald's gave the town of Winner, S.D. the chance to become big winners too, as three lucky residents won a total of $3,321 when they stepped into a money booth at the local McDonald's restaurant on Tuesday, Oct. 23.
Promotional tie-ins for this year's game included Foot Locker, Toys"R"Us and American Express. This year Foot Locker and Toys"R"Us combined to provide nearly 90 million Guaranteed Bonus game pieces, which were found on Large French fry, Premium Chicken Sandwich and Chicken Selects packaging. Each Guaranteed Bonus game piece carried a guaranteed prize or discount such as up to 20 percent off purchases at Foot Locker or up to $5 in Toys"R"Us Bucks on each game piece. American Express is awarding hourly prizes at http://www.playatmcd.com/ including a $200 American Express -- branded prepaid card. Additionally, American Express will be awarding American Express -- branded prepaid cards in varying amounts up to $10,000 on a daily basis as the Free Parking Jackpot. The MONOPOLY 2007 Game at McDonald's is open to all residents of the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, Saipan and American Samoa.
