Amphenol Corp. Q2 Income Climbs 15%

(RTTNews) - Amphenol Corp. (APH) released earnings for its second quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $206.5 million, or $0.65 per share. This was higher than $179.0 million, or $0.56 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.63 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 14.8% to $1.55 billion. This was up from $1.35 billion last year.
