Apollo Education Group Inc Profit Retreats 37% In Q1

(RTTNews) - Apollo Education Group Inc (APOL) announced earnings for first quarter that decreased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its profit declined to $31.34 million, or $0.29 per share. This was down from $49.91 million, or $0.46 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 18.0% to $586.02 million. This was down from $714.53 million last year.
