AudioCodes Q2 Earnings Miss Estimates, Revenues Beat - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - AudioCodes Ltd. (AUDC), a maker of VoIP products, Tuesday reported a second-quarter net loss, as higher operating expenses eclipsed revenue growth. Excluding certain items, the company reported earnings which missed analysts' estimates. Revenues, on the other hand, topped Street view.

For the June quarter, net loss stood at $46,000, or breakeven earnings per share, compared with a profit of $441,000, or $0.01 per share a year earlier.

Excluding certain items, the company reported a profit of $1.56 million or $0.04 per share, compared with a profit of $1.0 million, or $0.03 per share a year ago.

On average, three analysts polled by Thomson-Reuters estimated the company's earnings to be $0.05 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Quarterly revenues rose to $37.57 million, from $33.69 million last year, above the $36.90 million Wall Street expected, helped by a 15.3 percent growth in networking revenues.
