Bob Evans Farms Q3 Profit Rises 16%

(RTTNews) - Bob Evans Farms (BOBE) released earnings for its third quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $15.0 million, or $0.75 per share. This was up from $12.9 million, or $0.62 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.75 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 3.0% to $335.95 million. This was down from $346.51 million last year.
