Borders and Waldenbooks Stores Offer Special Educator Savings April 15

    ANN ARBOR, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 2005--Borders Books and Music and Waldenbooks stores nationwide will honor local educators for their hard work and dedication during Educator Savings Days from Friday, April 15, to Sunday, April 17. Each store will offer educators a 25% discount on regularly priced items, including items not intended for classroom use. In addition, all educators will receive a 25% discount on cafe food and beverage items during the weekend.
    During the designated weekend, teachers, librarians, principals, school support staff, home school parents and other educators can shop their local Borders(R) or Waldenbooks(R) and enjoy special discounts on thousands of books and other products to use in their classrooms or for personal enjoyment.
    To kick off the weekend, all Borders stores will host a special reception, Friday, April 15, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Educators will be treated to live music, giveaways, and food.
