Centrebet Launches on Orbis' OpenBet(TM) Platform

Orbis, the world’s leading provider of interactive gaming and betting solutions, recently migrated Australian based Centrebet onto the OpenBet platform. Phase One of the launch involved integration of the OpenBet Sportsbook and OpenBet Fixed Odds Games modules with planned future addition of the highly functional OpenBet Marketing module. The OpenBet system affords Centrebet customers all the advantages of the ‘One Account, One Wallet’ solution providing a one account, one log-in and one wallet across all Centrebet’s product offerings and on any platform. In addition to the comprehensive back-office management tools and applications of OpenBet Sportsbook including the migration onto OpenBet Call Centre technology for telephone bets, Centrebet also gains the ability to operate multiple sites and/or brands for ‘white label’ opportunities. Centrebet can now provide custom built betting products with full service, risk and account management to third parties. Centrebet’s non-Australian customers will have access to an array of graphically rich instant-play Flash based games featured in the OpenBet Fixed Odds Games module. Phase Two sees the addition of the OpenBet Marketing module, which will also allow Centrebet to carry out targeted marketing campaigns and player promotional activity, facilitating seamless cross-marketing between different products and platforms. David Loveday, Managing Director of Orbis, said, " Centrebet is a fundamental player in the Southern Hemisphere and key to our expansion in the global market. The OpenBet platform will enable Centrebet to extend their product offerings across multiple platforms as well allow them to offer white labels and deliver comprehensive marketing and promotional campaigns. Orbis is delighted with the implementation results of this broad project and we look forward to Centrebet’s continued success”. Centrebet Managing Director, Con Kafataris, said "White labelling will offer Centrebet partners the opportunity of a fully functional "turnkey” betting product. They will also have the advantage of Centrebet’s proven risk management, which consistently produces higher gross margins compared to any Australian online competitor”. He also commented that "this brings us one step closer to launching our sport and racing mobile product. Mobile phones are no longer simply communication tools, but are now also sophisticated content delivery systems that can also process transactions” he said. "We are poised for growth in remote betting with the convenience and flexibility of this product.” Orbis OpenBet presents seven distinct but compatible software modules that include Sportsbook, Casino, Rake Games, Fixed Odds Games, Exchange, Retail and Marketing.
