Checkpoint Names James Lucania Acting CFO

(RTTNews) - Checkpoint Systems Inc (CKP) on Monday said it has appointed James Lucania as acting chief financial officer, effective immediately. Lucania replaces Jeffrey Richard who is stepping down from his role as executive vice president and CFO.

Lucania will be reporting to George Babich, Jr., the company's chief executive officer.

Checkpoint said it would undertake an internal and external search to find a successor to Richard.

Checkpoint provides technology-driven, loss prevention, inventory management, and labeling solutions to the retail and apparel industries.
