Cynosure Names William Flannery Lead Director - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Cynosure, Inc. (CYNO), which designs, manufactures and markets medical devices for aesthetic procedures and precision surgical applications worldwide, said the firm's independent directors have elected William Flannery as Lead Director. Flannery, a member of Cynosure's board since June 2013, would continue to serve on the Compensation and the Nominating and Corporate Governance committees of the board.

As a Lead Director, Flannery's duties include chairing meetings of the company's independent directors, participating in the setting of meeting agendas, consulting on matters of corporate governance and board performance with the Chairman, and facilitating communications between other members of the Board and the Chairman. Also, he would be available, when appropriate, for consultation and communication with shareholders.
