Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown Names John Dudzik, Head of Branch Management and Mackey Hughes, Head of Sales Management and Business Development

    NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 31, 2005--Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown, the U.S. Private Client Services division of Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., today announced it has appointed John Dudzik as Head of Branch Management and Mackey Hughes as Head of Sales Management and Business Development. John will oversee the management of all 14 branch offices, with Branch Managers reporting directly to him. His chief responsibilities will include growing market share, enhancing the profitability of branch offices and fulfillment of regulatory obligations. John is also responsible for recruiting and targeting significant growth in the sales force. He will continue to manage the Private Client Services (PCS) Middle Market Equity business and report to Corky Crozier, Head of Private Client Services.
    In addition, Mackey Hughes was named Head of Sales Management and Business Development. In this role, he will have responsibility for key revenue initiatives and business development functions within PCS, working closely with John Dudzik and Branch Managers. Mackey will also work directly with the sales force and Product Management and Investment Solutions (PMIS) to leverage Deutsche Bank's extensive product platform and generate business opportunities. He will also report to Mr. Crozier.
