Europe Blue-Chip Dividend & Growth Fund Confirms Upcoming Scheduled Termination Date

TORONTO, Jan. 23, 2019 /CNW/ - Scotia Managed Companies Administration Inc. (the "Manager"), the manager of Europe Blue-Chip Dividend & Growth Fund (the "Trust"), confirmed today that the Trust will terminate and wind up on its scheduled termination date of March 29, 2019. Accordingly, all of the Trust's outstanding units (the "Units") will be redeemed for their net asset value on March 29, 2019 (the "Termination Date"), which will be paid in cash on or shortly following the Termination Date. The last day on which the Units will trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange will be March 27, 2019.

The Units currently are listed for trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol EBC.UN.
