Hilton Worldwide Q4 Profit Drops, Revenue Up - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Hospitality company Hilton Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (HLT) Thursday said fourth-quarter net income attributable to stockholders dropped to $26 million from $61 million in the previous year. Earnings per share declined to $0.03 from $0.07.
Adjusted for special items, earnings per share was $0.11 while it totaled $0.10 for the same period in 2012. On average, 19 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.17 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Total revenues increased to $2.643 billion from $2.338 billion in the prior year. Wall Street expected revenues of $2.46 billion.
For the first quarter, adjusted earning per share is projected to be between $0.08 and $0.10. Analysts expect earnings of $0.10 per share.
Annual adjusted earning per share is expected to be between $0.57 and $0.61. Wall Street expects earnings of $0.65 per share.
