KBRwyle books more sales in Australia
HOUSTON, Oct. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- KBR, Inc. (NYSE: KBR) announced today that its global Government Services business, KBRwyle, has booked over $16 million in contract variations for four of its acquisition and longer term sustainment services contracts with the Australian Department of Defence.
KBR's government services business in APAC, now operating under the KBRwyle brand, has successfully secured multi-year variations covering expanded scopes of work and time extensions to a number of its current naval, land and aerospace contracts with the Australian Department of Defence's Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG). These services support the acquisition, repair, maintenance and upgrade of a number of fleets including: helicopters, aircraft, specialist naval ships, communication systems, vehicles, radar systems and land-based missile systems.

Expected revenue from the announced contract extensions will be included in the third quarter 2017 backlog of unfilled orders for the Government Services segment. The individual contract variation values were not disclosed.
