Lamar Advertising Q4 Profit Rises - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Lamar Advertising Company (LAMR) reported that its fourth-quarter net income applicable to common stock increased to $10.09 million or $0.11 per share, from $7.82 million or $0.08 per share, last year. Adjusted EBITDA for the fourth quarter of 2013 was $145.0 million, compared to $136.9 million for the fourth quarter of 2012, a 5.9% increase. Pro forma adjusted EBITDA decreased 0.9%.
On average, ten analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.16 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Net revenues were $320.4 million, compared to $306.6 million for the fourth quarter of 2012, a 4.5% increase. Pro forma net revenue, monthly basis, increased 0.3%. Analysts expected revenue of $316.50 million for the quarter.
For the first quarter of 2014, the company expects net revenue, on a monthly basis, to be approximately $290 million to $293 million. On a pro forma basis this represents an increase of approximately 1% to 2%. Analysts expect the company to report first-quarter revenue of $292.66 million.
