Marguerite DiCiaccio is recognized by Continental Who's Who

MEDFORD, Mass., Nov. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Continental Who's Who recognizes Marguerite DiCiaccio as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her contributions to the fields of Writing and Editing.

DiCiaccio utilizes her expertise in writing, editing and administration in her role as CEO of LuxComm Communications Solutions, LLC, which is a locally-based company.

"I am a freelance consultant in many areas related to communication, including writing for fiction and non-fiction, all facets of public speaking and resume writing," DiCiaccio said. "My company is sort of a 'launching pad' for my books and articles."

Published in local papers including the Malden Observer, DiCiaccio's writing encompasses both fictional and non-fictional pieces with a focus on women who work together to overcome obstacles using the philosophy that "they'll find a way." Many works also follow a recurring theme of the combining of cultures.

Stories included Rose's Bouquet, the story of a group of women and the friendships that helped them through difficult stages of life, and Things I Forgot to Tell You, a story of a father talking to his daughter. Most notably, DiCiaccio has written a piece telling the true life story of her caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease.

"I want my writing to be lyrical," DiCiaccio said. "I want it to be made up of phrases that people will remember."

DiCiaccio holds a Master of Arts degree in Literature and Publishing from Emerson College and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Northeastern University. She is affiliated with both Toastmasters and the National Association of Professional Women.

When not working, DiCiaccio donates her time to both the Alzheimers Association and Planned Parenthood. She enjoys ballet, gardening and working with stained glass, and maintains a deep interest in art appreciation and history.

DiCiaccio dedicates this recognition to her husband, Nicholas DiCiaccio, for his love and support, as well as to the loving memory of her mother, Ann Mazzone Shepard.
