n2N Commerce Teams with Adobe to Define Cross-Channel Commerce User Experience
n2N Commerce, provider of the only cross-channel, on-demand commerce
platform designed for large, multichannel retailers, today announced it
is teaming with Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq: ADBE) to redefine
cross-channel commerce for retailers and consumers. The combination of
Adobe’s unparalleled expertise in user
experience technology and n2N’s mastery of
large-scale retailing will bring rich Internet applications (RIA) to
high-profile, transaction heavy business applications that enable
dynamic cross-channel retailing.
n2N’s on-demand platform includes eCommerce,
contact center sales and service, in-store sales, and order management
applications, all under the control of a cutting-edge cross-channel
retail workbench. By leveraging Adobe Flex technology, the n2N platform
will offer high-performance, intuitive RIA user experiences to all
business constituencies – merchants,
marketers, planners, contact center agents, and in-store sales reps,
enabling them to take cross-channel retailing to new levels of
sophistication.
"Our relationship with Adobe is a great
example of how n2N drives innovation and cost reduction for large
retailers,” said Ruben Pinchanski, co-founder
and CEO, n2N Commerce. "With Adobe’s
Flex technology, our cross-channel capabilities will be surfaced to all
users through a state-of-the-art RIA user interface. Productivity goes
up, training time does down, customers receive new levels of service,
and executing complex tasks like merchandising and marketing millions of
SKUs across channels becomes possible, driving revenue growth.”
The n2N SaaS platform delivers continuous innovation and cost-reduction
to large multichannel retailers. The platform weaves together
configurable Web 2.0 applications and breakthrough personalization
technology so retailers can deliver strongly-branded consumer
experiences across channels, without costly customization. Victoria’s
Secret Direct will begin running its $1.4 billion business on n2N’s
platform in early 2008.
"Adobe is excited to work with n2N to take
cross-channel commerce to a new level,” said
Michele Turner, vice president of product management and marketing,
Platform Business Unit at Adobe. "With Flex
and n2N, we are creating a scalable, high performance solution that is
delivered on-demand in a software-as-a-service model.” About n2N Commerce
n2N Commerce provides the industry's first cross-channel on-demand
commerce solution designed for large multichannel retailers. n2N opens a
new era of innovation, cost-containment, and channel synchronization,
through its inherently cross-channel retail platform that is highly
scalable and reliable, and architected to deliver ongoing competitive
advantage to large multichannel retailers.
