Northern Trust Corp. Bottom Line Advances 13% In Q1

(RTTNews) - Northern Trust Corp. (NTRS) revealed a profit for its first quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $276.1 million, or $1.09 per share. This was higher than $245.4 million, or $1.03 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.5% to $1.29 billion. This was up from $1.20 billion last year.
