Nuance Communications Appoints Lloyd Carney As Chairman Of Board - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Nuance Communications, Inc. (NUAN) announced that its Board has unanimously approved and appointed four new members to the Board, including a new, non-executive Chairman. Nuance's Board now comprises of nine members, eight of whom are independent. Effective immediately, Lloyd Carney, former CEO at Brocade Communications, joins as Nuance's Chairman of the Board.

Daniel Brennan, Executive Vice President and CFO of Boston Scientific, Thomas Ebling, former CEO and former Chairman of Demandware, Inc. and Michal Katz, Co-Head of the Global Technology Investment Banking Group and Managing Director at RBC Capital Markets, LLC join the Board as independent directors.
