Pre-market Movers For May 28 (BRCM, AVGO, ANF, GPRO, CTRP, AMAG)

(RTTNews) - Gainers:

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (ANF) is gaining nearly 4 percent to $20.37 despite reporting a net loss that widened from the year-ago quarter. Net sales decreased 14 percent and missed the consensus estimate, driven by a comparable sales decline of 8 percent and an adverse effect from changes in foreign currency exchange rates of 6 percent. Meanwhile, the company forecast continued sequential comparable sales improvement into the second quarter and the second half of the fiscal year.

GoPro, Inc. (GPRO) is rising 5 percent to $56.07.

Decliners:

Broadcom Corp. (BRCM) is down nearly 1 percent to $56.70, after closing Wednesday's regular trading up 21.45 percent at $57.15, amid reports about Avago deal. Today morning, Avago Technologies Ltd. (AVGO) announced that it has agreed to acquire Broadcom in $37 billion transaction. AVGO is up 4 percent to $147.25.

Ctrip.com International Ltd. (CTRP) is down over 2 percent to $79.50 based on the news that some of its servers had been hacked, causing problems to its website and mobile app services.

AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (AMAG) is falling 4 percent to $64.06. The company announced that it has received a complete response letter from the FDA regarding its manufacturing supplement seeking approval for a single-dose vial of Makena.
