Senior Management Changes at Handelsbanken

Handelsbanken (STO:SHBA) (STO:SHBB):

Louise Sander has been appointed Head of Pensions & Life at Handelsbanken Capital Markets. This business area includes Handelsbanken Liv, where Louise Sander remains as Chief Executive. She will also be a member of Handelsbanken’s Group management.

Per Elcar has been appointed Head of the Markets & Asset Management business area at Handelsbanken Capital Markets. At the same time, he has been appointed Executive Vice President of Handelsbanken and becomes a member of the Bank’s Group management. Per Elcar is currently Head of Securities and FICC at Handelsbanken Capital Markets.

Jan Amethier has been appointed Head of the Merchant Banking International business area at Handelsbanken Capital Markets. At the same time, he has been appointed Executive Vice President of Handelsbanken and becomes a member of the Bank’s Group management. Jan Amethier is currently Head of Corporate Finance and Large Corporates at Handelsbanken Capital Markets.

Magnus Uggla, Executive Vice President of Handelsbanken and Head of Handelsbanken International has reached his contractual age of retirement and will leave the Bank’s Group management. Handelsbanken International will become part of Handelsbanken Capital Markets.

All the above changes are effective as of 1 October 2014.
