Standard Chartered Reportedly To Eliminate Around 1,000 Of Its Senior Staff
(RTTNews) - Standard Chartered (SCBFF.PK, STAC.L, STAN.L) will eliminate around 1,000 of its senior staff, according to several reports.
The Asia-focused bank reportedly said in an internal memo that around a quarter of its 4,000 top managers would be notified by the end of November if they were affected by the cuts, which are already underway.
The reports also indicated that the bank will also sell assets and cut clients as part of the strategic review.
