Standex International Corp Q4 Income Advances 6%

(RTTNews) - Standex International Corp (SXI) announced earnings for its fourth quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $17.86 million, or $1.40 per share. This was up from $16.81 million, or $1.31 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.36 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 12.0% to $217.09 million. This was up from $193.78 million last year.
