Tutor Perini Q3 Results Top Estimates; Backs FY14 View

(RTTNews) - Tutor Perini Corp. (TPC) reported net income for the third quarter of $35.7 million or $0.73 per share, compared to $23.8 million or $0.49 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Revenues for the third quarter rose to $1.25 billion from $1.03 billion a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.69 per share on revenue of $1.23 billion for the third quarter.

Based on the current outlook, the company maintained its fiscal 2014 guidance, which calls for revenue of $4.5 billion to $4.7 billion and earnings of $2.20 to $2.40 per share. Analysts currently expect the company to earn $2.31 per share on revenue of $4.56 billion for the full year 2014.
