Volvo XC40 Inscription Makes North American Debut at the New York International Auto Show
Canadian Availability and Trim-Specific Features Announced
NEW YORK, March 28, 2018 /CNW/ - The most luxurious iteration of Volvo's new compact SUV – the XC40 Inscription – made its North American debut today at the New York International Auto Show in front of media and industry professionals. The XC40 Inscription will arrive in Canadian showrooms Q3 2018 as a model year 2019.
The Inscription trim of the XC40 offers a plethora of features that separate the compact SUV from its competitors. The XC40 Inscription enhances the cabin experience, with standard equipment including an Orrefors Crystal gear shift, Harman Kardon Premium Audio and ergonomically designed leather seats. The interior is also equipped with driftwood inlays, which received critical acclaim inside the award-winning XC60. Also standard on the XC40 Inscription are 18" 6-Spoke Black Diamond Cut Wheels.
The XC40 sets a new benchmark for safety, design and connectivity in the compact SUV segment. The stunning new vehicle offers versatility, functionality and significant storage capabilities designed to incorporate the active lives of today's drivers.
In Canada, the XC40 is equipped with Volvo's T5 Drive-E powertrain and all-wheel-drive capabilities in Momentum, R-Design and Inscription vehicle trims.
