York Water Q2 Profit Tops View

(RTTNews) - York Water Co. (YORW) Thursday reported that its second-quarter net income was $2.3 million or $0.18 per basic share, compared to $2.2 million or $0.17 per basic share in the same quarter prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.18 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Meanwhile, operating revenues for the quarter rose to $10.74 million from $10.35 million in the prior year quarter, while three analysts had a consensus revenue estimate of $10.50 million for the current quarter.
