New York, September 01, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Services has assessed New Penn Financial (NPF) as an "Average" originator of prime jumbo and non-QM residential mortgage loans based on several underlying components. In the assessment, Moody's reviewed NPF's loan performance and originator ability, which among other things included analyzing its ability to accurately assess borrowers' willingness and ability to repay their mortgage loans, its ability to accurately and objectively assess property value and its ability to close loans in accordance with laws and regulations. Finally, the assessment also took into account NPF's financial strength and support functions to determine its originator stability.
