PETROBRAS: Fertilizer Units Shutdown Extended Until October

(RTTNews) - The Brazilian state-owned oil company Petrobras said that the shutdown of its fertilizer plants located in Sergipe and Bahia, announced recently, should be completed by October 31.

Earlier, the units' closure was scheduled to the end of the current semester.

To that end, the state-owned company said that the creation of commissions to be formed by representatives of the governments of Sergipe and Bahia, the industry federations of both states and Petrobras, is being evaluated so that alternatives to the shutdown are found, provided there are no losses to the company.
