Airline Stocks Seeing Notable Weakness In Afternoon Trading
(RTTNews) - Despite the lack of direction being shown by the broader markets, airline stocks have come under pressure during trading on Thursday.
The NYSE Arca Airline Index has fallen by 1.2 percent on the day, although it remains stuck in a recent trading range.
The weakness among airline stocks may be partly due to concerns about the impact of the recent increase in oil prices, which climbed above $50 a barrel for the first time since October.
