Anovia Payments, New Global Processor, Launches

IRVING, Texas, July 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Starting with a blank canvas, industry leader Kevin Jones began in March of this year to build a revolutionary new payments company. He hand-selected a team of payment experts, and charged them with identifying proven merchant solutions and packaging them in simple, responsive, user-friendly sets.  He enlisted industry developers to create an encompassing and robust strategic partner business management tool that could accommodate all products, merchants and partners from all corners of the world.  Insisting on a company-wide commitment to unmatched service and support, the organization's infrastructure was designed to focus exclusively on maximizing the effectiveness of referral-based partnerships.

The resulting company, Anovia Payments, LLC, launched today in the United States, and plans to operate in both Canada and Europe within 12 months.

"With a payments landscape that is growing ever-more complex, our goal was to create a simple, harmonious and advantageous alternative for both referral partners and business owners," Jones said.

Working closely with co-founder Andy Meadows, the two drew on decades of shared industry experience, starting at Chase Paymentech, to create out-of-the-box solutions that would outpace and out-deliver any other partner-focused program.

"We have built a team that is very strategically dialed in to professional associations, VARs, financial institutions, and other business services companies that refer opportunities," Jones said.  "We empower these relationships with self-service tools and consultative support designed to streamline processes and accelerate profitability.  And we will extend this offering beyond traditional borders to enable partners to manage portfolios with merchants located around the globe."

At the heart of Anovia's model is a powerful Virtual Office for referral partners to access online boarding and residuals reporting, plus a series of business development tools that let them manage profitability, retention and merchant maintenance with ease and simplicity. This tool will allow partners the unique ability to manage and grow portfolios with merchants from multiple countries.

"Competition for merchant accounts has never been more intense," said Andy Meadows, Executive Vice President, Anovia Payments. "Stringent PCI standards, new IRS reporting regulations, margin compression, new entrants, and emerging technology platforms all present challenges for payment processors and partners alike. We have invested in the virtual office system for our strategic partners to remove this complexity now and in the future."

Joining Jones in leading the launch of the new Anovia venture are:

  • Andy Meadows, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing and Co-Founder
(Led Inside Sales and Operations at Vantiv, formerly Fifth Third Processing Solutions)
  • Mandy Jordan, Vice President, Global Marketing
(Formerly Director of Marketing at Chase Paymentech)
  • Hollie Jones, Director of Operations
(Formerly Director of Operations at Century Payments)

"Our team has incredible energy, experience, and an unmatched appetite to create a better customer experience," Jones noted.  "We are moving forward at great speed, and making tremendous strides."
