AutoNation Features 2014 Indy 500® Winner Ryan Hunter-Reay And Indy 500® Rising Star, Jack Harvey, in Major Coast To Coast TV Campaign
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., May 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- AutoNation, Inc. (NYSE: AN), America's Largest Automotive Retailer, today announced that it has again teamed up with Andretti Autosport's 2014 Indy 500® Champion, Ryan Hunter-Reay and Indy 500® Rookie, Jack Harvey, driving in his first Indy 500® on May 28th, to help celebrate the company selling 11 million vehicles and the kickoff of the summer selling season, with a $20 million TV advertising campaign.
Ryan Hunter-Reay, AutoNation's longtime partner in the fight against cancer, kicked off the company's, "Race to 11 Million" major TV campaign from May 1st through May 31st and the "#DRINKTHEMILK" challenge throughout the month of May. The #DRINKTHEMILK challenge reinforces AutoNation's commitment to fighting cancer. A little over four years ago, AutoNation partnered with Ryan Hunter-Reay and Racing for Cancer to direct all charitable efforts towards cancer research, awareness and prevention. In conjunction with the company's Drive Pink Initiative, AutoNation has committed nearly $11 Million towards cancer-related organizations in 18 markets coast to coast.
Following the, "Race to 11 Million" campaign and the "#DRINKTHEMILK" challenge, AutoNation teams up with Andretti Autosport's rising star and Indy 500® Rookie, Jack Harvey. Jack will be a part of the company's summer long national TV advertising campaign and sales event, "PAYCATION! Buy a new car or truck and make no payments for 90 days." Jack will also join AutoNation in the fight against cancer, by supporting AutoNation's Drive Pink initiative. To celebrate the company's 50 million customers serviced over the last 20 years, Jack Harvey will drive the #50 car, donned in bold pink & black AutoNation colors, in the Indy 500®.
