Ctrip.com Q2 Profit Down

(RTTNews) - Ctrip.com International, Ltd. (CTRP) Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of 134.9 million yuan or 3.51 yuan per share, down from 208.2 million yuan or 5.88 yuan per share last year.

On a per ADS basis, earnings were 0.88 yuan compared to 1.47 yuan last year.

On a US dollar basis, net income were $21.7 million or $0.14 per ADS.

Adjusted earnings per ADS were 1.58 yuan or $0.26.

Total revenues for the quarter were 1.82 billion yuan, up from 1.32 billion yuan last year. On a US dollar basis, revenues were $293.3 million.

Analysts expected earnings of $0.11 per share and revenues of $269.26 million for the quarter.
