AUSTIN, Minn., July 17. 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Enjoy the sunshine and take a day off of work to make a positive difference in your community!

On Monday, August 14, Gerard Academy will hold its 17^th Annual Golf Tournament, supporting kids and families in Austin and surrounding communities. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Gerard's Community Mental Heath Services and provide two Gerard Academy youth with $750 scholarships to Riverland Community College.

The tournament will be held at the Austin Country Club, 1202 28^th Street NE, Austin, MN, just across the street from Gerard Academy. This will be a four-person, best ball tournament, with prizes awarded for longest putt, closest to the pin, and longest drive. If registered before July 22, the cost is $80; after that date, the cost is $90 per person. Registration fees include the 18-hole green fee, a golf cart, as well as brats and hamburgers served throughout the day.
