Icahn Enterprises Q3 Profit Down

(RTTNews) - Icahn Enterprises L.P. (IEP) reported that its third-quarter net income allocable to Limited partners for the third-quarter was $124 million or $0.68 per depositary unit, compared to $586 million, or $3.53 per depositary unit last year.

Loss from continuing operations was $29 million or $0.16 per depositary unit, compared to net income of $577 million or $3.41 per depositary unit in the prior year.

Adjusted EBIT attributable to Icahn Enterprises was a loss of $55 million compared to income of $260 million for the three months ended September 30, 2017.

Quarterly revenues were $2.7 billion, down from $3.5 billion last year.
