Icahn Enterprises Slips To Loss In Q2

(RTTNews) - Icahn Enterprises L.P. (IEP) reported that its net loss allocated to limited partners for the second quarter 2019 was $488 million or $2.49 per unit, compared to net income of $296 million or $1.66 per unit last year.

The latest-quarter result included a loss from continuing operations of $474 million or $2.37 per unit, hurt primarily by a decline in the market value of the shares of Tenneco Inc. common stock that Icahn Enterprises received last year in connection with the sale of its indirect wholly owned subsidiary Federal-Mogul LLC to Tenneco.

Quarterly revenues declined to $2.20 billion from $3.42 billion last year.
