Intrexon Prices Initial Public Offering

GERMANTOWN, Md., Aug. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Intrexon Corporation today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 9,999,999 shares of common stock at a public offering price of $16.00 per share, before underwriting discounts and offering expenses.  All of the common stock is being offered by Intrexon.  The shares are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday, August 8, 2013, under the symbol "XON." 

In addition, Intrexon has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,499,999 additional shares of common stock from Intrexon.

J.P. Morgan and Barclays are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.  Griffin Securities and Mizuho Securities are acting as co-managers.
