InventHelp Inventor Develops an Automated Pet Waste Retrieval Device (MTN-3531)
PITTSBURGH, Dec. 28, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor in Elmhurst, New York, who has an understanding of the unconditional love and unmatched loyalty of a pet dog, also understands that pet waste cleanup is unpleasant. It prompted him to develop a portable pet waste retrieval product that would eliminate contact with pet waste, as well as reducing the need to bend over for the process.
The invention provides a self-contained plastic vacuum unit with a claw-like intake and pickup working end, with an integrated waste bag sealing, storage, and release system. It would provide automated pet waste pickup via a quiet motor, specially-designed and developed to not scare pets. The product would be an easy-operating, ergonomic gripping and handling design.
The inventor described the invention as "a portable handheld, automatic vacuum pet dog waste pickup and disposal device."
The original design was submitted to the Manhattan sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
