Latino, African American, Asian American, Native American & Other Groups Urge Interior Secretary To Abandon Trump Plan For Expanded Offshore Drilling

WASHINGTON, May 25, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A broad-based array of 38 Latino, African American, Asian American, Native American, and allied groups today released a joint letter urging US Interior Secretary Zinke to halt the Trump Administration plans to expand offshore drilling in the Arctic, Atlantic and other waters.

Among the groups signing the joint letter are Mi Familia Vota, National Hispanic Medical Association, Hip Hop Caucus, Asian Pacific Policy and Planning Council, and Voces Verdes. The 38-group letter reads as follows:
