Legg Mason Inc. Bottom Line Climbs 14% In Q2

(RTTNews) - Legg Mason Inc. (LM) announced earnings for its second quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $75.7 million, or $0.78 per share. This was up from $66.4 million, or $0.63 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 2.7% to $768.3 million. This was up from $748.4 million last year.
