Lufthansa Increases 2016 Adj. EBIT Forecast - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DLAKF, DLAKY) reported adjusted EBIT of 1.677 billion euros in the first nine months of 2016 compared to 1.693 billion euros, previous year. Based on preliminary figures, the company generated revenues of 23.9 billion euros in the first nine months of 2016 compared to 24.3 billion euros in prior-year period.

Lufthansa Group's Executive Board increased its full-year forecast for adjusted EBIT from 'below previous year' to 'approximately on previous year's level'.

For the fourth-quarter, Lufthansa Group expects that revenues at constant currency will fall by 7 to 8 percent, which is a one percentage point lower decrease compared to what was expected in July. The other business segments are expecting cumulative earnings slightly below the same period last year in the fourth quarter.

Deutsche Lufthansa AG will publish its detailed results for the first nine months of 2016 on 2 November 2016.
