THE RACHEL ROY CELEBRITY TREE FROM MACY’S

A celebration of yesterday and today, grace and form, the Rachel Roy tree is a rare vintage find! This 7-foot tall antique bust form gives way to a voluminous — and luminous — wired skirt, patterned with mercury glass ornaments and prancing reindeer in a forest of lights.

THE JESSICA SIMPSON CELEBRITY TREE FROM MACY’S

Let your holidays glitter, shimmer and shine! The Jessica Simpson tree is a brilliant winter tree with golden wire-wrapped branches, faux pearls, feathered friends and berry sprays — all atop a gilded pedestal urn.

THE MARTHA STEWART CELEBRITY TREE FROM MACY’S

Inspired by childhood memories and the most tempting treats of the season, the Martha Stewart tree is a sweeping blue spruce perched atop a grand cake stand, adorned with cool peppermint garlands, sweet candy canes and spicy gingerbread cookies. It may look good enough to eat, but this tree is just for looks!

THE DONALD J. TRUMP CELEBRITY TREE FROM MACY’S

The gold standard for the holidays, the Donald J. Trump tree is brilliant, handsome, rich and completely one-of-a-kind. A tower of golden bullion bars gleams with light for a Christmas vision that’s pure magic.

Now through Dec. 2, bidders are invited to visit macys.com/trees or step into a whimsical forest at Macy’s Herald Square where the trees will be displayed. While there will only be one auction winner for each tree, Macy’s stars have also designed signature holiday ornaments that will be available at all Macy’s stores and online at macys.com. These exclusive celebrity-inspired ornaments retail for $9.99, with 10 percent of the purchase price benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

"I’m very happy to be offering Macy’s customers an ornament designed especially to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation this holiday season,” said Martha Stewart. "The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a truly wonderful organization, embodying the spirit of giving. I hope our customers will take pleasure in buying our ornament so that children with life-threatening health problems can be granted their very important wishes."

Macy’s nostalgic "Believe” campaign is inspired by a letter written by 8-year-old Virginia O’Hanlon in 1897 to the editor of The New York Sun inquiring about the existence of Santa. Newsman Francis P. Church responded with a poignantly worded essay on the importance of believing, including the famous line "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist …” This year, the "Believe” campaign launched on Nov. 6 and will run through Dec. 24. Believers of all ages are invited to write a letter to Santa and drop it at the "Believe Station” at their local Macy’s store. For each letter received, Macy’s will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, up to $1 million, to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
