Med-IQ to Hold Live Educational Webinars for Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

BALTIMORE, June 27, 2017/PRNewswire/ -- Med-IQ is pleased to announce that live CME/CPE Webinars for primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and endocrinologists will be held on June 29th and July 6th of 2017.

Despite receiving optimal insulin therapy, patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) may still struggle with achieving glycemic control. This CME/CPE Webinar will explore using an insulin/glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1 RA) treatment strategy to improve glycemic control and minimize diabetes-related complications.

This educational event will feature experts Vivian Fonseca, MD, FRCP, and Davida Kruger, MSN, APN-BC, BC-ADM, who will discuss the benefits and limitations of using GLP-1 RAs as an insulin intensification strategy, explore the pharmacologic differences among available GLP-1 RAs, and answer participant questions regarding insulin intensification.

To register for one of the live Webinar dates and have the opportunity to ask your pressing questions about insulin intensification, visit https://www.webcasts.com/GLP1RA. Due to high demand and limited space for each of the available sessions, it is recommended that you secure your spot if you are interested in attending. Don't miss this opportunity to help your patients improve glycemic control and minimize diabetes-related complications.

This educational event is funded by an educational grant from Sanofi US. This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit and ACPE credit.
