National Clean Fuels President Invited to White House Conference
National Clean Fuels’ (PinkSheets: NACF) President Maurice Stone accepted a prestigious invitation to attend the recent White House Conference on America’s Great Outdoors and to personally witness President Barack Obama’s remarks and signing of the "America’s Great Outdoors Memorandum”. The President’s Memorandum addresses challenges, opportunities and innovations surrounding modern day land conservation and the importance of reconnecting Americans and American families to the outdoors. Mr. Stone attended as President of National Clean Fuels and also in his capacity as Energy Committee Chair of the National Black Chamber of Commerce.
Also speaking at the White House event was US Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, White House Council on Environmental Quality Chair Nancy Sutley, US Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack and US Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson.
Other named participants included Governor of New Mexico Bill Richardson, Mayor of Newark, New Jersey Cory Booker, Vice President of the Archibald Bush Foundation Jaime Pinkham and Western Policy Manager at the Land Trust Alliance Lynne Sherrod.
