Qlik Q4 Results Top Estimates; Provides Weak Q1, FY Guidance

(RTTNews) - Software company Qlik Technologies Inc (QLIK) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net earnings of $25.8 million or $0.28 per share compared with $8.3 million or $0.09 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.32 per share compared with $0.31 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were up 13% at $182.8 million compared with $161.8 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.28 per share on revenues of $179.5 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the first quarter, the company expects revenues of $111 million to $115 million, while analysts expect $127.2 million.

For the full year 2015, Qlik projects revenues of $615 million to $625 million, while analysts expect $636 million.
