Spectra Energy Partners Q1 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Spectra Energy Partners, LP (SEP) reported net income from controlling interests of $293 million for first quarter 2015, compared to $242 million in first quarter 2014. Ongoing net income from controlling interests was $302 million for the quarter compared to $265 million in the prior-year quarter.

First quarter 2015 distributable cash flow was $354 million, compared to $324 million in the prior-year quarter. Distributions per limited partner unit for first quarter 2015 were $0.60125, compared to $0.55625 per limited partner unit in 2014.

Operating revenues increased to $606 million from $581 million last year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected revenue of $630.15 million for the quarter.
