Standex International Corp Q3 Income Advances 6%

(RTTNews) - Standex International Corp (SXI) released earnings for its third quarter that gained ground compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $12.39 million, or $0.98 per share. This was up from $11.68 million, or $0.92 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.10 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 4.1% to $184.72 million. This was up from $177.47 million last year.
