Tanner Ainge Kicks Off Grassroots Tour
SILICON SLOPES, Utah, May 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Tanner Ainge, a businessman and community leader, has kicked off his campaign for Utah's 3rd Congressional District with an intensive, grassroots-based tour.
Ainge pledged to knock doors, meet voters and collect signatures in each county of the district prior to the June 12 deadline.
Utah's 3rd Congressional district comprises roughly 60 towns and cities, seven counties, and spans more than 375 miles, or six-hour drive from tip to tip. "I love this district and the state of Utah. I believe there is no better place to raise a family, start a business or just enjoy a good quality of life. I have lived in Sandy, Draper, Alpine and Provo, but that is not enough. I want to visit every corner of this district and listen to the voices of the men and women I hope to represent."
Ainge also announced that he would be visiting with various faith groups throughout the 3rd Congressional District. "I have a sincere desire to represent all people in my district. Our party and our conservative movement should be welcoming, as our values are universal. I intend to be a relentless voice for religious freedom."
Ainge will also be meeting with businesses, local officials and other community groups throughout his tour, receiving feedback on the top federal priorities of the district and sharing a message of limited government, fiscal responsibility and principled conservatism.
"August 15 is the day when all registered Republicans will have a chance to select their nominee," Ainge stated, "and I will work tirelessly until then to earn their trust."
