Tyler Technologies Signs ERP Contract with Oklahoma’s Second Largest School District
Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today it has reached an agreement with Tulsa Public Schools to provide its Munis® enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. Tulsa Public Schools, Oklahoma’s second largest school district with 41,600 students, has invested in an extensive range of Tyler's Munis financial, human capital management and document management applications. In addition to software licenses, the agreement includes related professional services, maintenance and support.
"We chose Tyler’s Munis ERP solution because we needed an affordable system that provided improvements in functionality and allowed our staff to operate more efficiently while increasing customer service,” said Trish Williams, chief financial officer for Tulsa Public Schools. "Tulsa has received national recognition for our financial reporting, and we were looking for a partner with a demonstrated track record of serving public schools. We also received positive references from other local organizations using Munis, including Union ISD and Tulsa County. With that criterion in mind, Tyler was a perfect fit for Tulsa Public Schools.”
"Tyler has an insider’s understanding of the school market and the domain expertise to comprehend how schools operate and what they need to work most effectively,” said Richard E. Peterson Jr., president of Tyler's ERP & School Division. "Our expertise in public sector-specific software and services means we know how to deliver an exceptional client experience that is necessary for schools to be successful. We're pleased Tulsa Public Schools has chosen Tyler as a partner, and we look forward to a long relationship.”
