London, 28 September 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service (Moody's) has today downgraded to A3 from A2 the long-term issuer and senior unsecured ratings of Électricité de France (EDF), as well as its perpetual junior subordinated debt ratings to Baa3 from Baa2. Concurrently, Moody's has downgraded to Prime-2 from Prime-1 the group's short-term ratings. The outlook on all ratings is stable. Today's rating action concludes the review initiated on 16 September 2016.
