Malaysia Trade Balance On Tap For Thursday
(RTTNews) - Malaysia will on Thursday release trade data for May, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Analysts are expecting the trade balance to reflect a surplus of 943.1 billion ringgit after coming in at 0.94 billion ringgit in April - when imports were at 54.87 billion ringgit and exports came in at 55.81 billion ringgit.
Thailand will see June results for its consumer confidence index; in May, it saw a score of 72.8.
Australia will announce May numbers for building approvals, with analysts expecting a decline of 1.0 percent on month and 0.1 percent on year. That follows the 9.1 percent monthly gain and the 27.3 percent annual surge in April.
