New Zealand Manufacturing Sector Slows In November
(RTTNews) - The manufacturing sector in New Zealand continued to expand in November, albeit at a slower pace, the latest survey from Business NZ revealed on Thursday - with a Performance of Manufacturing Index score of 54.4.
That's down from 55.2 in October, although it remains well above the boom-or0-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.
The November reading also marks a 13-month low for the index as employment was a key drag.
